Der 2. EZM World Cup in Saison 70 war ein Turnier der Premieren. Nicht nur dass alle im EZM vertretenen Nationen teilgenommen haben, sondern auch die Einführung der fortlaufenden Overtime in den K.O. Spielen sowie die Erweiterung der Statistik um die Corsi Werte der Spieler erreichten erstmals das EZM Geschehen. Topscorer des Turniers wurde der deutsche Peter Niemeyer, der sicherste Rückhalt war Goalie Nurejew für Russland
